Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Larimore

Two Riders Succumb to Injuries

Larimore, ND (August 26, 2023) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the identities of the victims involved in a fatal motorcycle crash on the southwest edge of Larimore on Tuesday.

Crash Details

According to the report, the incident occurred around 1:58 PM on Tuesday, August 26th. A Harley Davidson driven by 59-year-old Mark Joseph Leonard of Drayton was involved in a collision with a Hampton Jitney bus driven by Jeanluc Gayott Jr., 52 of Port Jefferson.

Leonard and his passenger, 44-year-old Nicole Marie Brown of Drayton, were both pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional riders, who were part of a motorcycle club ride, were involved in the crash but sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigation Ongoing

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash. The cause of the collision is not yet known.
